Wella Trend Vision 2012-Dublin, Ireland, next stop London!
Wella Trend Vision 2012-Dublin, Ireland, a little update on Wella’s Trend Vision 2012… without further ado here’s a few photos a long the way. I was one of 6 winners propelled to the next stage, which will be held in London in October 2012.
Our day started promptly at 7:15am in Robert Chambers Salon; around the corner from the Wella Studio. I weaved one last time through the hairstyle, Dermot prepped the make-up, and with a deep breath of enthusiasm off we went. Hands in tow of clothing, shoes, bags, make up, plus everything we didn’t need, Juljia was strutting through Dublin’s back streets; gown, half made-up, hair clips and all. Our look of urgency masking the inevitability that was to compete in Trend Vision 2012. Before we knew it next stop London!
Many thanks for the tireless support to Robert Chambers Salon & the staff at the Wella Studio.

Women’s Hair, interpretation-Dublin, when it comes to interpretation in hairdressing, well let’s just say at moments every hairdresser thinks a little differently, which is exactly why it’s such a creative and fantastic industry.
Monday evening I went to the Wella Studio in Dublin to attend an evening of inspiration for the up and coming Wella Trend Vision. And I’m so glad I went.
The 4 Wella Trend Vision categories are Grace + Celeste + Roxy and finally Blaze. Each theme has a lifestyle and attitude that suits a specific trend. Let’s start with Grace who is the essence of nature. Her style has an understated aesthetic composition, while her taste is pure and simple. And her hair color palette is sophisticated beige tones. Celeste is the here and now girl that lives a futuristic lifestyle. Someone who is always on trend with a quest for the newest and latest sensation. Her hair color palette is precision blond with a tonal contrast mixed with gold’s, violets, or even rose gold’s. Roxy is the scene-stealer. She has an inspired Studio 54 style with an influence that looks sleek with fantastic texture and pure style. Her hair color palette is an explosion of berry tones and bougainville tones fused with bright yellows. And finally Blaze, the girl with attitude and the fiery temper. Her hair color palette is intense darkness with color bursts of flamboyant pinks with precisely groomed graphic drama.
The idea of Trend Vision is to bring a theme to life.
Grazie mille to Bruno Giamattei, Dan Spiller and Becci Giacopazzi from the Marc Anthoni Salon for coming to Dublin and all your tireless creativity and inspiration. And much kudos to Cleo, Sinead and Neil at the Dublin Wella Studio for the endless support you give to so many.
I was stuck in Milan right at the start of the Eyjafjallajökull eruption. And in that same week was also La Fiera del Mobile. I knew it wouldn’t be easy to get back to Dublin. If you can’t beat them, join them, I thought to myself, I’ll go hunt hair do’s! It was one of those slow hair-hunting days, and after more than a few hours, still nothing on my camera… and Wella! A big smile comes to life, and here we have Men’s Short Hair, capelli spezzati e il sorisso felice on Via Durini. This gentleman has a real easy going spezzato haircut that works so well with his fine hair and healthy texture. Just a little bit of wax on the ends, and here you have it, a fresh, and young happy look.
