Men’s Hair, casual comfort on San Carlo al Corso-Milano, I always like this look because it shows a casual comfort from within. It’s more about a long hairstyle that’s unfussy, which is why it looks masculine and current.

Women’s Hair, dip dye on Johnson’s Court-Dublin, it all began with a beautiful shade of denim-esque blue hair color that gave Claire’s eyes a glow. It then gracefully faded to a modern cool blond. And now it’s transitioned into a fusion of groovy rich red tones and muted blond tones. More to come soon….

Women’s Hair, modern youth on Grafton St. Dublin, I’m inspired by some of the youth that I see out and about. They seem to be experts at using their very own natural elements to create quality styles that appear effortless but look modern and current. Everything about this long hair is natural, yet uncomplicated.

Men’s Hair, blue on Sallymount-Dublin, when it comes to inspiration for your next hair colour, some colors do standout just a little bit more, especially bright blue tones.
So when seeking the “keep it cool” style, the combination of natural waves and crisp turquoise hair colour together do create a cool standout modern statement for James.

A quiet moment

Model arrives & chilling out
Haircut..set!
Colors of the rainbow..which will it be?
This year I’ve decided to take the plunge in the Wella Trend Vision 2012 Ireland. Although the big day isn’t’ until Monday September 3rd, there’s prepping involved and more important, teamwork.
“TrendVision is like the hair Olympics!” says Wella Professionals Ambassador Nick Berardi. VERY true! So how do you prepare? After reading this, my respectful perspective quickly changed.
Yesterday the day began with a breath of relief when the secret model arrived. The first part of the prep was the haircut, which was really cool to do because it’s a haircut I rarely get to do. I decided to top up my game and pull out the head mannequin because this is what happened meanwhile behind the scenes..…
A few weeks ago I presented my inspirational haircut/colour to my maybe model with a photo, she looked at it simply said, “no way am I wearing that”. I quickly explained “it wouldn’t be exactly like this but a bit more like this, longer here, shorter there” and she still stood in front of me and said “there is no way I am wearing that” In that moment, I knew it was time to go to Sally’s Hair Supply to buy the dreaded mannequin head and execute the precise haircut to convince my most wanted maybe Trend Vision model how stylishly cool this haircut will really be. My pitch was “The Armani of hairstyles, the haircut of a lifetime”…true for both of us. After my mannequin head trials, my presentation was ready for my most wanted maybe Trend Vision model. The big sigh finally came when she saw the finished work and said, “Ok, I’m in, when is it”?
Yesterday morning at Robert Chambers Salon, my ever so talented partner in this years Trend Vision Dermot McHugh and I had our first behind the scenes trial with our model to prepare for the big day. And finally Tamar Chambers Artistic Director of the Robert Chambers Hair Group stopped by to give support and check it all out.
Although it’s all a big secret, here are some photos of getting the party started. More to come.. but later….

Women’s Hair, soft edge on Anne’s Lane-Dublin, a fringe adds a touch of style to any look. In fact, it can be the focal point to a hairstyle and overall look.
Lisa’s fringe is sharp, strong and adds a soft edge to her style. Nowadays, a fringe is more about easy reinvention and a little maintenance.
Here are some other groovy bang styles featured by Vanessa & Niamh
